My name is Melesha Hensley and I am the owner and head lash artist at Melesha’s Lash Studio. I opened the studio about 2 yrs ago so that I could make my own schedule and have more time with my family. I was in Human Resource Management and Real Estate for many years and, honestly, it just wasnt for me. The long hours, the pay, the amount of time I missed with my kids… I knew I had to do something else. Life is too short, right!

The beauty industry really caught my eye. I knew I didn’t want to do hair, I literally can’t even style my own hair, haha! I heard about lash extensions and said to myself, I could do that… So I took a lash course and got myself certified. After tons, and I mean tons of practice, I started taking clients. I immediately knew I was going to love this job.

I love working with the public. I love all the conversations I have with my clients. I say “what ever you say in the lash room, stays in the lash room.” Its honestly like therapy for my clients, and really, for me too. I’ve made not only loyal clients but lasting friendships. Doing something you love is so worth it, life is too short not too.
